Initially, ‘Glasses of Grace’ started because my niece, Grace, had to get glasses for reading. Since grace is such a spiritual topic and the fact that my niece is such a doll, I started thinking about the ways God shows us His grace on a daily basis. From His servings, His 'glasses of grace' to us - to seeing the world through the eyes of grace (or Grace, since she had new glasses and better sight), it made sense in more ways than one, so a title was born. Blessings and all, this is my life…

Influence

"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit."

Didn't The Who or somebody write a song about that? Come On Baby, Light my Fire! Okay, that was way before my time, so I'm not sure who wrote it!

Seriously though, that's a very good thought to ponder and like I wrote about in my blog about that lady who has everything she could ever want, but not her health. Reminded me to be thankful in the small things. I still struggle with it...every day, trying not to get down about the things that are so monumental to me, but I'm sure so small in the eyes of God. HE is able! Thanks for that blog, short & sweet, but oh so powerful.
